| The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML)
With an active membership of over 250,000, the LWML is the official women's organization of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. For over 60 years, the LWML has focused on a combination of fellowship and ministry in order to affirm each member in her relationship in Christ, her relationship with her sisters in Christ, and her ties to the world at large.
At Our Redeemer, the group has gained strength each year, and its officers have consistently supported and planned a diverse and ambitious agenda. The group meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall unless otherwise noted. Free childcare is available for all meetings. All one need do is call Margie in the office at 440-248-4066 by noon on the day of the meeting to arrange for a sitter.
The LWML sponsors a variety of activities and missions throughout the year, that reaches out to the Church, as well as local and international communities. Events range from pure fellowship to ministries across the globe, keeping at its focus Christ's love and a desire to share this love with others.
